MIELLE ORGANICS: PURE. SIMPLE. NATURAL

This is another brand that I’ve seen heavily in my Instagram feed.

Styling Gel with Honey & Ginger

I was in a search of a new Wash’N’Go product since I experienced a lot of flaking with Camille Rose Naturals’ Curl Maker, even though it made my curls pop.

One of the products that I came across was Mielle Organics’ Honey & Ginger Styling Gel. First of, it smells so good and I could definitely notice the ginger scent as I was applying the product throughout my strands to set my Wash’N’Go. It has lots of slip which helps with reducing tangles and knots.

What I also liked about this product is that I did not experience a lot of shrinkage the next day. I still had a little bit of volume and did not need to lift my hair much from the root to create more volume. Unlike Camille Rose Naturals’ Curl Maker, this product is a styling gel. There was a lot of crunch, which I tried to get rid of by scrunching a little bit of oil to my curls the next morning, which did not really help. I don’t mind the crunch though. I am sure that my curls will soften by day 3 or 4, which was my prior experience when using the Eco Styler Argan Oil Gel for the same style. Overall, my hair is left is lots of definition and NO frizz.

Babassu Oil Mint Deep Conditioner

OMG, how I wish I had known about this product long ago. What I love about Mielle Organics’ Babassu Oil Mint Deep Conditioner is the tingling feeling of the mint on my scalp. So refreshing and spa-ish. Felt like a gentle and cool breeze was hitting my roots.

I could tell that my hair was in love with this product as it immediately soaked it up. I did not combine it with any other deep conditioning product (as I usually do with others). I absolutely love how it left my hair feeling moisturized, hydrated and super soft.

Where To Buy: I purchased these products from my local Sally’s Beauty store.
